Woodfordes Wherry Bucket starter kit
uses one of the best beer kits on the market the Woodfordes Wherry
The wherry is Amber in colour with a golden syrupy flavour that binds a well-balanced, classic, creamy bitter. A find blend of hops, bitterness and fruit gives a light but complex feel.
This is a all malt beer kit so no fermenting sugar is required.
Wherry Bucket Starter Kit includes:
- 25 litre fermenting bucket and lid
- Stirring spoon
- Hydrometer
- 50g Cleaner Steriliser
- Syphon tube, tap and sediment trap
- Woodforde’s Wherry Ingredients Kit (3kg)
You will need :- (As does not come with)
Pressure Barrel or Bottles
Water
Allergy Advice :- May Contain Barley and other Cereals, containing gluten
All the Equipment is re-usable, you just need a beer kit and sterliser for your next brew
How Easy?
Its very easy to make beer, This starter kit has all you need apart from water and barreling or bottling
It takes approx 7-10 days to ferment the beer
Once fermented you need to store the beer to condition which will takes approx 3-4 weeks
You ferment the beer at room temperature anything from 16-21oC will be fine. Best not in a airing cupboard as this is far too hot
Then once bottled or barrel store at room temperature for 7-10 days to condition the beer, then more to a colder place to help clear the beer
Once the beer is made it will keep for 6 months – 1 year as long as the beer has conditioned in the bottle or barrel.
Anything Else?
To be honest No! just water and bottles or barrel
All the other equipment you are going to need is in the starter kit
For your next brew you are likly to need
Another Beer kit can be any not just a woodfordes
Fermenting Sugar or enhancer for that kit, unless it’s an all malt kit which does not require fermenting sugar
if you have not drunk your beer then More bottles or even a barrel for your next batch
Sterliser is great to have spare amount of it, as you always run out when you need some
